What we collect,
and what we do with it.

What we collect

What you enter in the homepage concept form: your name, your business name, your email address, a link to your current website or social page, the kind of business you run, and any note you choose to add. That is the only information we ask you for.

If you email us directly, we have whatever is in that email. There is no account to create and no password to store.

Separately from anything you type, the services that run this site record ordinary technical data as a side effect of serving pages. Our host logs requests, which includes IP addresses and browser information, and the form service does the same when you submit. We do not use that for tracking or marketing, and we do not combine it with anything else. We would rather say so than claim we collect nothing but your form fields.

What we use it for

• Designing the homepage concept you asked for
• Replying to you about it, including if we decide we're not the right fit
• Building your website, if you decide to hire us

We don't add you to a marketing list, we don't run a follow-up sequence, and we don't sell, rent, or trade your details to anyone. If you don't hire us, you won't hear from us again after our reply.

Public information we look at

To design a homepage concept we look at what your business already publishes: your website, your Facebook or Instagram page, your Google Business profile, your menu, your photos. We only look at material that is publicly visible, and we use it to design a concept for you, not for anything else.

If you'd rather we didn't use a particular photo or piece of text, say so and we won't.

Cookies and tracking

This site sets no cookies, runs no analytics, and carries no advertising or social tracking pixels. Nothing is stored in your browser. There is nothing to consent to, which is why there's no cookie banner. If that ever changes, this page changes first.

Third parties

• Fonts. Typefaces are served by Google Fonts, so your browser requests those files from Google and Google receives your IP address as part of that request. What Google does with it is governed by Google's own privacy policy, not ours.
• Form submissions. The homepage concept form is delivered by FormSubmit (formsubmit.co). It receives what you type, plus the technical data any web request carries, and forwards it to us by email. We use it purely as a delivery mechanism; its own handling of that data is covered by its privacy policy, not ours.
• Hosting. The site is hosted on Vercel, which serves the pages and keeps request logs as any web host does.
• Email. Our replies go through a normal email provider.

How long we keep it

Homepage concept requests are kept for up to twelve months so we can find them again if you come back to us. Records for customers we've actually worked with are kept longer, because we need them for invoicing and tax records.

Deleting your information

Email hello@siteinthree.com and ask. We'll delete what we hold and confirm when it's done. You don't have to give a reason, and it won't affect anything we're currently building for you.

Children

This is a service sold to businesses. It isn't directed at children and we don't knowingly collect information from them.

Changes

If this note changes, the date at the top changes with it. There's no archive of previous versions because there haven't been any yet.
